Cancellation Policy
Last updated 9 August 2026.
The short version
Cancel whenever you want. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing renews after that, and we do not charge you again.
There is no separate refund process, because there is nothing to unwind: you are never billed for time you have not reached yet.
How to cancel
Settings → Manage billing → Cancel. That opens the Stripe portal, where cancellation takes one click. No email, no form, no retention call.
What happens on the day you cancel
- Nothing changes immediately. You keep full access.
- The renewal that was scheduled is cancelled.
- Your plan credits stay usable until the period ends. They are not clawed back and they are not topped up again.
What happens when the period ends
- Plan credits are cleared. Monthly and annual credits are an allowance for that period; they never rolled over while you were subscribed and they do not survive cancellation.
- Top-up credits stay. You bought those separately, so they remain in your account and never expire — even without an active plan.
- Specs you generated stay yours. They remain downloadable from your account, and what you built with them is yours regardless.
- Watchlists stop being checked and alerts stop. The lists themselves are kept, so resubscribing picks up where you left off.
- The idea database and chat close until you subscribe again.
Annual plans
Annual plans hand you twelve months of credits on day one for the price of ten. If you cancel mid-year, the plan runs to its end date and then stops — the credits you were given upfront remain usable for the rest of that year. Because the discount is paid forward, annual periods are not refunded part-way through.
Lifetime access
There is nothing to cancel — no recurring charge exists. Lifetime access means the platform stays open to you for the operational life of the service. See the terms for what happens if the service is ever discontinued.
Credit packs
Top-up packs are a one-time purchase of a consumable. They never expire, so there is no renewal to cancel and no expiry to race.
If something is actually broken
Cancellation is not the answer to a bug. If an AI action fails on our side, the credits for it are returned automatically — you do not need to ask. If something is wrong and credits were consumed anyway, email support@codekudo.com with what happened and we will put the credits back.
Chargebacks are the slowest possible route: they cost us a fee, close the account, and take weeks. Emailing us is faster and we would rather fix the problem.
